We are pleased to invite you to participate in the international scientific conference titled „Civic Education – Encouraging Active Citizen Participation in Public Life”, which will take place online on March 13th, 2026, via Microsoft Teams.

This conference will serve as a platform for academic exchange, inspiration, and reflection on the challenges and opportunities arising in contemporary civic education. Together, we aim to explore how to foster attitudes of engagement, responsibility, and participation in public life, both at the local and global levels. We invite experts from various disciplines to present their research, share practical experiences, and take part in a dialogue on the key issues shaping our shared future. We warmly welcome researchers, practitioners, doctoral students, students, and all those interested in these topics to join us. We believe that the exchange of ideas and experiences will contribute to building a more conscious, active, and responsible civic society.

Articles related to the conference will be published in several scientific journals:

Annales UMCS, sec. G (Ius) is a reviewed journal with a long-established publishing tradition that started in 1954. It is a platform for active international exchange of knowledge. It is well- known and valued among academia and law practitioners such as judges, attorneys, legal advisers, prosecutors, and notaries. The original version of the journal is an electronic one.

Acta Educationis Generalis is an international, peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary scientific open-access journal published since 2011. Administrative Law Review publishes scientific articles, glosses, polemics, reviews and information about the legal administrative scientific movement in Poland and abroad. It is primarily addressed to the representatives of administrative law doctrine, persons performing legal professions, legislators, administration employees and entrepreneurs. The periodical is made available according to the Open Access principles.

 

Articles must be sent individually to a chosen journal, not to organizers of the Conference. We kindly ask you to ensure that the topic of your article is consistent with the scope and profile of the selected journal.  The journal’s editorial boards reserve the right to accept or reject submitted articles.
